Kyodai Katsu is a brand new restaurant specialise in tonkatsu. Located in the strategical Koornang Road in Carnegie, joining the other food venture. I always thought that the suburb needed more Japanese flavour, real authentic Japanese taste not made by Chinese. This is another very exciting venture and a unique one as well.

My friend Ieatblog, now live in Carnegie and he has been raving about this place. My love for tonkatsu it self enough for me to visit this restaurant but amped up by him. I rush into Carnegie. Yes, I trust his flavour judgement.

Panko Pork Teishoku - pork tenderloin cutlet ($15.9) with steamed rice, salad, pickles and miso. Owhh, it's a good as he said. Super crispy, a lil bit crumbly outer layer with juicy cutlet inside and the price it self was not high at all. Making it possible to be consume as often. Yum! The tonkatsu sauce that comes with the dish matched perfectly with the chicken and rice.

Panko Chicken Curry - crispy chicken thigh fillet marinated with soy ($15.9). Another crispy outer layer but now balanced with generous rich curry. This would be my comfort food any day please! A lil bit saucy and crunchy. Just perfect for any kind of weather.

Made to order Taiyaki Nutella (2pcs/$2.5ea). Last but not least, super thin and crispy taiyaki with nutella inside. Yes, it is so delicious but I do think it's so small and pricey for the price they put in the menu.
