SpudBar St Kilda is the very first store in Melbourne. This is the store that later on franchise upon all over Melbourne. I have first heard about SpudBar via my husband who back then worked near by and he loves baked potato. Then I often come by to this store cause of Entertainment Book.

The current owner, Lee. He decides to do a renovation of the store and rebuild it to suits the modern young crowd. I went in with my family on a Sunday afternoon. SpudBar is all about healthy, fresh meal that suits all dietary requirement. You can build your own spud or choose from their classics menu.

Bacon & Cheese - oven baked potato, bacon, tasty cheese, mushrooms, wild rocket, tomato salsa, light sour cream & spring onions ($12.4). We tried this version with sweet potato and I love it. The whole combination just simply hearty and rich with ingredients, the portions is amazingly large and will fill you up.

Meat lovers - oven baked potato, beef bolognese, bacon, shredded cabbage, mushrooms, tasty cheese, light sour cream & spring onions ($14.6) add free range chicken ($3.5). The perfect winter bulking up meal. Full of meaty goodness, even better for hangover cure. This will be my one of many visits to SpudBar for sure.
