My last invite to The Tamper Trap, I suddenly felt ill on the day so my husband and my brother went there for me. According to my husband, they were not happy at first since I can't be there in person but after they learnt he is my husband that always goes to any invite with me, they calm down and ended up pretty happy with the result. So when they approach me again to come in for their new menu, my husband said to me, make sure I won't fell ill again this time.

On the day, I was so excited cause my husband also said that their food were pretty good on the last visit. We came in on a Sunday morning, greeted nicely and shown to our table straight away. Started with a very good cup of coffee and my son get's his own babycino.  I also like the high window and spacious seating area, not too cramped in between tables.

Spinach Waffle - crumbed egg, roasted mixed mushrooms, chilli oil, goats cheese, smokey red pepper relish, herb vinaigrette ($21) + avocado ($4). This is part of their new menu, crispy fluffy and flavourful waffle, not too mention healthy cause of the spinach in it. I love the roasted mushroom so much, I would like more of it. It added earthy aromatic flavourful to the dish, mixed nicely with tasty goat cheese and super smokey delicious red pepper relish for the kick at the end.

Okonomiyaki Japanese Pancake - zucchini, peas, savoy cabbage, carrot, ginger with crispy ginger chicken, edamame slaw, mayo, house made bbq sauce, potato crisp ($19.5). This is part of their old menu, something that my husband love and can't help to order it again. Crispy healthy pancake, full of various vegetables. Even though I want the pancake it self to be a lil bit lighter but the tasty mayo and bbq mixed everything well together. And those chicken is super crispy and flavourful, definitely steal the spot light from the okonomiyaki.

Hotcakes Sandwich - home made peanut butter ice cream, crunchy oreo crumble, mascarpone, house made strawberry ice cream, raspberry coulis, seasonal fruits, misted pretzels ($24). That peanut butter ice cream is so rich, sticky and delicious. I want more please! And the hot cake was fluffy, very well portion not too much but definitely enough. I love the salty pretzels and fresh strawberry ice cream, adding a different flavourful to the dish.
