Club Colombia is a small representative of Colombia in Melbourne. The place looked dark from the outside but upon entering you will realise the colourful and vibrant Colombian culture clearly shines through the whole place. Starting with colourful interior and walls of famous Colombian star. They also have live music on some days.

Jafra de Farajo is beer mixed with Colombian soft drinks. It's one of their traditional drinks. They normally drink it on Sunday at their grandma's house cause it's light and sweet. Apparently, they are good for hangovers too. I love the sweetness flavour and light soda flavour mixed with the beer. It's indeed light and very easy to drink.

Entree; Crema Bogotana de Ahuyama, Jengibre Y Papa en Fosforito ($12), Yuquitas Fritas Con Hogao ($12) with guacamole and salsa,  De Las Playas de Colombia, coctel de Camaron con Patacon ($18) and Empanadas Vallunas ($4). These menu mush have sound like gibberish to you, unless you can speak Spanish, cause it is to me.

Starting from the first dish, it's what I called amplified pumpkin soup, they added ginger and crispy potato on top. Then come in super crispy fried cassava with sour cream, guacamole. and soury salsa. Perfectly matched to be dine in together with Carribean prawn ceviche with red sauce. On top of that, traditional Colombian pastry filled with mashed potatoes and beef. Honestly, love the beef on top but the pastry is a bit too tough and dry for my taste.

Costilla de Cerdo con Salsa de Pannella del Valley Aguardiente ($22), Sobrebarriga Chorreada del Altiplano Cundiboyancense ($25), Arroz de Camaron Y Chorizo a base de Leche de Coco de Las Costas Colombianas ($26). Another gibberish? Shall I explain it to you? The first main is melt in your mouth pork ribs cooked in sugarcane and Colombian alcohol called Aguardiente. We were also given shots of it, to have a taste and it's before 7pm. Then we were given flank steak with rich higado sauce, cream and cheese. Ended with rice with prawn, chorizo, base of coconut milk. Similar with paella.

The owner, Diego is a very nice friendly man. All of their staff, match him nicely. He given us so much, he picked everything given that night. He also gave us three dessert to end the night and from the beginning he keep saying you can bring everything home cause he already prepared so much for us.
