Elenis's Kitchen & Bar own by duo sisters; Eleftheria and Anatoli. They named the restaurant Eleni's, comes from their Grand Mother. The menu also reflect all the wonderful home made meals, they used to experienced while growing up. They also bring a large amount of memories comes to life by filling the walls with photos, shown their long history of being part of Yarraville community.

I came in on a weekdays, greeted by Eleftheria her self. She served me coffee and told me a lil bit about the restaurant. Then Alex, the super enthusiatic social media manager come in. He show us the second level with gorgeous open balcony and take us around the neighbourhood while telling us a lil bit more stories about the neighbourhood. My friend ordered Greek Coffee, quite close with Turkish coffee in flavour but they bring it with gorgeous sacred tray. He also ordered Italian Orange Soda, then for my self skinny cap and OJ.

Char-grilled Calamari ($19) and Scallops - seven Island sauce, Olympos feta ($26). Both of the entree comes in with beautiful presentations. I never seen calamari to be served in the shape like this. It was cooked pretty well but needed to be pushed in terms of flavour a lil bit more, easily fix with a touch more spices and salt. Contrary with the calamari, scallops comes in a heavy sauce that almost over shadowed the scallops. I would like my scallops a lil bit raw in the middle.

King Prawns - chargrilled, vegetable medley ($34) and Lamb Cutlets - lemon potatoes ($35). The mains comes in flawlessly. Perfectly cooked prawns and lamb cutlets. I literally finished the whole portions of prawns by my self, even the vegies that comes with it were delicious. Lamb for me needed to be a lil pink in the middle, tender and does not reek of it's smell and Eleni's managed to achieve all of them.

Galaktoboureko - sweet custard wrapped in buttered filo pastry in a honey syrup ($9). Beautifully made in house, a bit heavy for me but would be nice to share between two-four people. I also bought home Chicken Gyros ($28). and Baklava ($9) on my own account. I want the baklava to be a touch sweeter and more decadent but the chicken gyros was delicious.
