Burma Lane Boozy Brunch (Revisited-Invited)

Burma Lane is a place I have been invited a couple times before and now, they come up with a new event on Saturday's. Boozy Brunch is an ultimate brunch with 2 starters and 4 shared mains with a choice of bottomless beverage. How awesome is that? The price for prosecco, white and red wine - $79pp, Louis Roederer champagne - $129 and Non-alcoholic $59.

Burma lane also conveniently located at Melbourne CBD and have a great ambience, perfect for weekend catch-up with friends and family, as well as very spacious.Service was excellent. We were warmly welcomed by the front-staff when we first stepped in. She ushered us to our table, which was already prepared, and offered us drinks to start.

We started-off with our brunch experience by being served a glass of Bottomless Prosecco. The service was very quick as well. In less than 10 minutes, we were served our appetiser to start off our meal: Smoked chicken wings and Shan tofu. The Chicken Wings was very well-seasoned,generous layer of sweet and slightly spicy of sauce. They also provide you with wet wipes to clean off your hands after enjoying the chicken wings – how thoughtful! And the Tofu was very soft, it gave me a very different taste compared to the chicken wings, more towards sour side.

Just after we finished our appetiser, 4 main dishes were served altogether with rice too; Braised chicken Curry was definitely highlight of the day! The chicken was very juicy and tender. The curry was more towards the lighter side, but the chicken was perfectly cooked! Then Five spiced Pork Belly comes not far behind. The pork belly was also very tender while the skin remained crispy and sauce was also very flavourful as well.

Papaya salad on the side, adds refreshing component to the main meal; love the peanut as it adds contrasting texture to the dish. I honestly prefer the papaya salad, rather than Pickled tomato salad, as it was too sour for my personal liking.

I love the concept of having a shared brunch, as it allows us to try various dishes and share with our partners. So you can choose which dish to take the most to enjoy! Burma Lane also adds plenty of their own flare to brunch, so if you want something different plus bottomless booze, then go for it!
