Mama Buoi director, Bao Hoang is always the one in the family who suggested to eat out but his mom always like to eat in. She loves cooking, creating new recipes or just simply feeding her kids and her extended family. Mama Buoi is inspired by her cooking as well his aunt's passion of home cook food.

It was one hot day in Melbourne so we decided to stay in Chadstone for one whole day, during dinner time went it started to cool off we were searching for something to eat then Mama Buoi comes to mind. This is my first experience in tasting their food even though I have seen them in other locations before. The restaurant it self was very well decorated, spacey, comfortable and suitable for casual dining.

Saigon's Famous Pho Soup - thin rare slices of tender beef, beef balls, tripe, noodles & 6 hour broth ($18). The pho was warm, has a lot of flavours, the meat was tender and all the sides are fresh. Yes, the price is quite high but it's expected from a restaurant located in a mall.

Com Tam - grilled pork chop with rice, fried egg, pickles, nuoc nam sauce ($18). The pork chop was well cooked and seasoned but the portions of the meat could be added a bit more.

The service was quite friendly, fast and attentive. We were pretty happy about the visit and we would like to come back to try some other dishes on their menu.
