Ghin Kopi it's a casual dining Thai restaurant located in Windsor, just a couple doors away from the famous Tokyo Tina. They offers dine in, take away as well as delivery from their website and known for their wide ranges of menu.

I was in the area and it was raining so I craved for something hot and soupy, tom yum pops into mind then I saw Ghin Kopi. The restaurant it self was unique and cosy with two storey dining spaces. My first impression of the menu, they focus more on serving various ranges of Thai food and cocktails but sadly they don't have Thai Iced Tea.

My husband wanted a snack so he ordered Chicken Satay - 6 grilled chicken skewers served with satay sauce ($8.5). Sadly, it was disappointing. The chicken was pretty tough and the satay sauce was really light, it needed much more spices.

I ordered the large size of Tom Yum Prawns - hot and sour soup with prawns ($13.5). There are not much prawns or mushrooms inside the soup but it does taste pretty good. Balanced sweet, sour taste and not too spicy. The prawn was pretty fresh as well.

My mom wanted noodles so she opted for; Pad Thai with Chicken - flat rice noodles stir fried with chicken, tofu, dried shrimp and peanuts ($12.9). The overall taste was sweet and there was not much of anything else but at least in comes in a generous size.

The service was pretty standard, not too friendly or attentive but still acceptable. It was an okay experience, nothing outstanding but nothing horrible as well.
