One Plus Piece (Invited)

Thought it was pretty far from city, but apparently it is reachable easily by public transport (tram and trains). They also have lots of parking space nearby! I went there during lunch-time so it was pretty full at that time, which of course slow down the service, but still great service overall! Food was pretty quick to arrive despite the crowd.

Talking about the ambience, this small caf̩ is definitely a must-visit for anime lovers! I love the way they pay attention to every detail Рthey even bring out the anime-vibes with the utensils! The menu is presented with vintage theme in a book with anime-printed cover, which I found very interesting!
Their decoration and anime-themed setting was definitely impressive!

Despite the full house, this place is a great place to catch up with friends, have a quick meal, or even take-aways!Staff also have great knowledge about the menu and dishes. Started with Ice Matcha with Yuzu syrup ($7). Not a big fan of the matcha but it is definitely refreshing! Perfect for summer days!

Red-Haired Shakes ($16). Perfect for dessert-sharing and the presentation was impressive! It is definitely a must-order when you visit this place with friends! I would recommend to serve this after meal instead of altogether, as it is served with ice cream too. Thought it was going to be overly-sweet but the strawberry jam was refreshing! Love the coconut marshmallow too!

Chili Scramble Eggs ($20). Love the croissant! It was fragrant and buttery. Would love the scrambled eggs to be creamier, but it’s pretty soft and well-seasoned and well-accompanied with the sweet crispy bacon. Also love the halloumi cheese – perfectly cooked, not oily, and light cheesy bites that made the dish richer!

Wagyu Bown ($20), it;s their monthly special. Highlight of the visit besides its anime-theme! I honestly was not expecting this café to have such a great Japanese-style bowl, but this one is bomb! Would definitely love to try more poke bowl from here! I chose a mix of brown rice and quinoa & kale, which definitely I love! The beef was sweet, tender, and well-cooked though the egg was a little bit overcooked for me. The bowl was nicely balanced with edamame and refreshing pickled radish too.
