Olinda Tea House sitting in the heart of Dandenong Ranges. It has a serene ambience with a lil it of Asian flair. Located 50km from Melbourne CBD, just a short road trip, reachable by private vehicles and public transport. It's build with a modern but sustainable technology, promoting peace and nature. Supporting the surrounding and meant to be one with the nature.

I requested these soups because it was a pretty cold day when I visited them. Chicken Sweet Corn Soup and Hot & Sour Soup ($7.8ea). I did not expect to find a refine Chinese cuisine in Dandenong Ranges but to my surprise it also holds authentic flavours. Both soup was pretty delicious, holds same thick texture but strong flavours. Very much enjoyable.

Pan Fried Roasted Honey Soy Eye Fillet Cube with Abalone Mushroom & Asparagus ($36.8). This was the absolute highlight for me. Super tender, perfectly cooked meat with sweet generous sauce covering it and crispy asparagus. I love it. Could not stop eating it. It taste like home but also has a luxury feeling to it.

Olinda Tea House's Famous Braised Pork Belly Cube with Sweet Soy Sauce ($28.8). The top part of the pork belly just simply melts in your mouth but the bottom needs a lil bit more time so it become as tender as the top but the sauce was nice and I could eat it with rice just like that.

Kung Pao Prawns ($29.8) and Stir Fried Seasonal Greens ($18.8). The prawn was unbelievably fresh and succulent, a lil bit spicy but we all love it. Sadly, the vegetables was pretty blend compared to other dishes. Also I noticed that everything comes in a generous size, perfect to share with your families.

Dessert Platter: Sesame Roll Cake, Macarons, Chocolate Mousse, Mini Tarts, Scones with jam and cream. I was attracted to their High Tea set at first but they said their menu is still under works so they wanted me to come and taste their regular menu first. Another surprise is mid way, the manager told me that he's going to give me a dessert platter at the end with the high tea settings.  It was so pretty and very well presented. The scones was a lil bit crunchy on the outside but with jam and cream, it's yummy. And those mini treats were so cute.

Olinda Tea House is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, high tea and also private events. It has a playground at the back for your kids, bigger room for bigger events such as weddings, also smaller one for intimate feelings.
