Capri Cafe sitting on Sebel Docklands. Recently under went a new management, focusing on Modern Australian cuisine with European influence. I went in on a weekdays for lunch, there's only two table besides me but the place is well decorated with Christmas ornaments, make it a lively place to be in.

Capri Poke Bowl - quinoa, cucumber, avocado, broccolini, edamame, kale, dried seaweed, sesame dressing ($15) add smoked trout ($6.5). I fine the whole dish is a bit too soggy, I always like sauce but this is too watery but not strong in flavour. I do love the ingredients being put in the dish, it's just needed to be executed better.

Meat Loaf - maple Bourbon BBQ sauce, potato rosti, roasted cherry tomatoes ($16.7). This one is really nice, very tender, almost mushy but way too generous in sauce. I would like more meat since I think the portions were relatively small. Love the comfort of meat loaf.

Cinnamon Brioche French Toast - black tea, poached baby pear, vanilla double cream, pistachio, salted caramel ($18). A bit chewy on the outer layer and the poached pear needed to be cooked more, cause it's still too hard. The vanilla double cream was delicious, so is the salted caramel. Love the black tea infusion.
