Cafe Louis (Invited)

Cafe Louis might has just been opened for 5 months, but it is definitely not playing around. It is reachable by trams and lots of parking spots available around the area. We arrived at noon and were welcomed by the owner himself, Po. He humbly explained about the concept of café Louis, which is simple and relaxing.

The place is specifically designed to be spacious, where guests could enjoy their brunching experience to the maximum. It is also connected to a local shop that sells arts, stationaries, notebooks, etc. Which is really cool, so we could see and visit the shop after the meal. Po also excitedly shared to us about the background of their high quality coffee beans and their coffee competition winning barista. We were very intrigued to try so we ordered their cappuccinos. Then he suggested us to try two of their most popular dishes, which are Benny and Green Chilli Scrambled Egg.

Just like what Po told us, their coffee is remarkably good. One of the nicest coffees we ever tasted. The food was served not long after, and just like the whole café concept, the presentation was simple but nice. They were both delicious, perfectly cooked, and in great portion. The toast from the scrambled egg was soft and easy to cut. And the pulled pork from the benny was one of the best pulled pork dishes we ever tried.

However, aside from the great tastes, there are not many things about the dishes that outstand compared to other cafes in the area. Since almost all of the dishes on the menu can be found in other places. Soon they will be expanding their menu tho, which we are very excited for. So we hope to see new dishes that could be Café Louis’ signatures and will not be found in other places.

We definitely recommend visiting Café Louis. Great meals, amazing coffees, and awesome interior design. We enjoyed our time being there.
