Shanklin Cafe is a place I have been invited many times before and the owner remember me every time. He even remember how many times I have been there, that is an awesome attention to detail that I wish all cafe owner have. You are feel welcome and amaze by his thoughtfulness. Not only to bloggers but I can see him do the same to his regular customers. Always making his rounds, talking to everybody.

Eggs & shanklish - scrambled with fresh herbs, cherry tomatoes, spring onion, wilted spinach & mint ($22) extra bacon ($4). This is their signature dish. That scrambled egg simply melts in your mouth with cheesy bites every now and then, I love em so much. Makes your tummy warm straight away then topped with crispy crunchy greasy bacon. Yum!

Sweet corn fritters - guacamole salsa, coriander & yoghurt ($19) extra smoked salmon ($5). Super crunchy as well as sweet corn fritters, the best kind that you want. Generous guacamole and salsa, just perfect for guacamole and salsa lovers like me.

Nutella stuffed pancakes - strawberries, grilled banana & oreo crumbles served with vanilla ice cream ($22). The finaleeeee!! Yes, it is as delicious as it sounds. Might get to sweet and soggy at the end, so I suggest it is best to share. But the whole combination it self is a genius, nutella inside fluffy vanilla pancakes with sweet banana, sour strawberry and crunchy oreo. Finished with vanilla ice cream. Dream come true? Yes, it is.

Another note, their espresso milkshakes is amazingggg.. Must order, suiting for summer days, not so far away now but I even risk it on a cold winter days. Cause I love em. Not too thick but creamy enough with prominent coffee flavour.
