The Hotel Windsor is a 5 star hotel, opposite the historic Parliament hotel. Beautiful heritage interior dated back to 1883 fitting for royalty. It is also known for serving one of the best high tea in Melbourne for many many years. Reservation is highly recommended, especially on weekends cause they are almost always fully booked.

I was invited to One Eleven Spring High Tea launch and for once they are happy to my baby come with me. They even willing to provide a high chair with me. To my shock it was on their private room, long tables with the other influencers. I thought it's gonna be a table for three of us on their general high tea room.

Jeremie the new Chef from France, has made a couple new additions to the high tea menu this Spring and he also preparing something new for summer. We started with three tiers of savoury dishes, yes you heard it right. Three tiers of savoury dishes, where is the dessert??? That come's later. Top Tier: Traditional and Sultana scones with Windsor Jam and triple cream.
Middle Tier: Savoury pastries (Parmesan cauliflower tart, spicy butter and Proscuitto muffin, tomato chutney). Bottom Tier: Ribbon Sandwiches (Egg with mayonnaise, horseradish and Dijon mustard, Smoked salmon with avocado cream, Cucumber and ricotta cheese with herbs and Chicken with celery and walnuts).

It's time for dessert and Windsor actually gives you the whole dessert buffet with over twenty variety of seasonal desserts, complete with chocolate fountain and house made marshmallow. Dessert heaven? Yes, it is! But mind you, this package with the dessert buffet is only available on weekends. On weekdays the dessert served in the tier. For weekdays the prices ranges from $75-$95 and on weekends $99-$119 for adult.
