Hot Hot Pot declare them self as a new style sichuan malatang and the first of it's kind in Melbourne. They want to create a finer experience in dining hot pot, where the customers can choose their own spiciness level. Besides that they also have 70 gourmet ingredients to choose from. Why gourmet? Cause they want to make it as healthy as possible, cleaner hot pot experience. Their broth is made with slow cook technique with roasted bones, bone marrows, wild herbs, spices and no added msg.

I went in on a Saturday and hosted by the owner him self. He take his time off to introduce me to Hot Hot Pot experience even took care of everything till the end. He is a very passionate business man with a lot if understanding of the business as well as a compassionate man. Why did I say that? Cause he cares as much to my kid needs during the meal, that says a lot from a man who have not have a kid of his own.

The experience started with picking up the empty bowl and tongs then walk to their pantry. Seriously, I'm so confused what to pick first cause they all look so fresh and tempting. The price is based on the weight, $1.6 per 50g. We ordered two bowls; pork collagen soup based with instant noodles and mild sichuan soup based with their spinach noodles.

I think the pork collagen is a bit plain but with the dipping sauce, it works really well. Especially for family with kids. The sichuan soup is packed full of flavour making you wanna sip more and more. In terms of toppings, they got you all covered and a lot of interesting one too such as filled with curry. That added an extra surprise to your meal. And love the spinach noodles, it gives you an extra healthy kick that you need. Another extra point is they have their own home made Asian drinks.
