Hash - Camberwell (Invited)

Hash started with one store in Melbourne CBD and it used to have one store in Glen Waverly that turns to something else now. Then comes Camberwell store. This is my first time in cafe, quite spacious with a semi outdoor space and big brown bear, a character from Line which the children would surely love hugging and sitting on it.

Again, a mix up has happen. No body tell the store manager that we are coming. I don't know why it happens so often now. Apparently, it happens a lot to this cafe cause they look unhappy but decided to serve us anyway. Started with Chorizo & Seared Scallops - white bean puree, romesco, fried egg, brioche, chilli ($21). Honestly, the portions was quite small, especially for the price but the flavour was clearly there. Perfectly cooked scallops, spicy chorizo and smooth bean puree. The crispy brioche to dip in to the egg yolk and bean.

Marinated Quail - lemon, chilli marinade, purple and gold sweet potato, pumpkin, citrus honey dressing ($19.5). Perfectly cooked and seasoned quail, a lil bit sour and sweet, delicious! But again, the portions was really small.
