Nested in the leafy suburb of Ivanhoe, DOCASA has all the modern cafe interiors perfect for a lazy weekend of brunch. I loved the teal accents and all the drooping plants that decorates the whole space.

We started off with the Croquettes of Crab and Corn. Croquettes always has a special space in my heart - so the cheesiness of the croquettes were perfect for me! I mean, you really can't go wrong with fried croquettes and breakfast. The braised leek ragout and grilled corn salsa were also great elements that accompanied the croquettes! And the oozy fried egg? Perfection.

Next up was the Seared Beef. First up, definitely didn't expect this type of sophisticated dish and presentation at brunch! The beef was perfectly seared, and I really enjoyed the scent and flavour of the truffle oil. The beet accents also added a nice freshness to the whole dish.

Last but not least were the beautifully presented Ricotta Hotcakes. The stack of fluffy hotcakes were generously topped with zesty lemon curd. The pops of crunch from the pistachios and meringue shards were also great contrasts against the pancakes and the curd!
