Hash CBD (Invited)

Hash CBD has make it's name in Melbourne brunch scene and stayed there for quite some time now. It shows's a lot since Melbourne brunch scene is so competitive and it's hard to stay on top and maintain people interest all year long.

We have to have their signature drinks. Originally it's just their Hash Hot Chocolate but now they also have it in Matcha flavour. Honestly the chocolate has been my favourite because it's dark and thick, so indulgent and make me feel naughty. But the matcha also has it's strength cause it's in trend and suitable to Asian flavour. I do want the matcha flavour to be a lil bit stronger.

Been dreaming of a good mushroom dish so when I say this on the menu, I knew I have to order it. Truffled Mushrooms - trio of mushrooms, polenta crisp. spinach spread, brioche croutons, poached egg, pecorino ($19.5). It delivers in every level. Generous and very well cooked mushrooms with perfectly polenta and cheesy pecorina. Just simply yummed!

Duck Pastrami Salad - heirloom vegetables, roast parsnip, shallot, chevre foam, tea smoked egg, honey mustard dressing ($21). Pink duck always give me a lil bit of jolt inside. Definitely not just an ordinary salad, it's fancy and classy. Suiting for a high end places for sure. So sophisticated and delicious yet meaty enough.

French Toasted Bacon Croissant - bacon, pecan, banana crunch, pistachio, creme fraiche, maple syrup ($19). My husband wanted this dish. The word french toast and bacon just sold him out quickly. And yes, it was good. All the naughty inside one single bite, sweet salty, crunchy and melts in your mouth. Love it.
