Collective Espresso (Revisted-Invited)

Collective Espresso has been there for a long while, just beside Camberwell station. This mini cafe, with very limited indoor seatings and just a couple more outside has been popular since I was in University. They used to be well known for their burger but now basically they are well known for coffee and brunch dishes.

Crumbed Mac & Cheese w/ Crispy Crab - Mac & cheese croquette, tempura softshell crab, green cheese sauce & ranch dressing ($18.5) extra avocado ($4). My favourite out of all, absolute star. Super crispy mac and cheese croquette with super cheesy inside, topped with crunchy flavourful softshell crab and that green cheese sauce as well as ranch dressing was delicious. Love it to bits.

Poké Bowl - Smoked salmon, turmeric rice, avocado, edamame & corn w/ a citrus soy dressing ($16.5) extra egg ($2). The poke bowl was the least of our favourite. Not because it's not delicious just over shine by the two other dishes. The tumeric rice served cold with generous toppings but I would like the salmon to be either raw or seared rather than smoke.

Gravity Waffles - Vanilla and white chocolate, whipped cream, kiwi fruit, strawberries, salted caramel & popcorn ($18.5). This is what collective espresso famous for, yesss the waffle has an absolute appeal. Super unique but not only that, the waffle was light and the salted caramel just melts in your mouth with enough fruits for freshness. Love it.
