Drumplings is a restaurant focus on dumplings, just like it's name. Sitting in Bourke St, opposite of JB Hi Fi. The place is bright with a splash of attractive pink and a lil bit of green plants here and there. I love the modern and young vibe.

They have pre arranged the menu for us, so the plan is to give us tasting menu of their dumpling. In the other word, not their regular portions. I honestly never really convinced of this new version dumplings. But, I'll give it a chance.

Started with their Signature Dumplings, basically all the new flavour dumplings, they have created. We got Cheeseburger, Chilli Con Carne, Chicken Laksa and Beef Rendang, all inside dumplings. How amazing is that? Oh woww, I never thought I would say this but I love the cheeseburger dumplings. It's like eating McDonalds cheeseburger inside a dumpling, amazing. The rest were also pretty real, still the winner for me is the cheeseburger.

The next round is their Traditional Dumplings; Prawn & Chive, Spinach & prawn, Xia Long Bao and Pork & Chive. Honestly, I have my doubts. Usually, a place with fusion taste would not have a good traditional taste but they proven me wrong. It's pretty good, not as good as an authentic dumpling place but good enough. Especially their Xia Long Bao, not bad at all.

We also got Pork & Prawn Noodle Soups filled with dumplings, crispy skin pork belly, bok coy, roice noodles, coconut curry soup ($12). Not a good idea putting large slice of pork belly on a soup but the base soup it self is light and fresh and the dumplings is also really nice.

At the end, we got; Nutella Banana Dumplings and Apple Crumble Dumplings. The nutella banana was so delicious and melts in your mouth. They said they are still working out the apple crumble recipes and it's a touch too sour for me.
