Mr & Mrs Anderson has been opened since 2016. Joining owners, James Limneous and Roulla Saisanas is the famous Emma Jeffrey, ex Hammer & Tong and Mammoth Cafe also the co owner and executive chef at the Moat Bar and Restaurant. She is the new Head Chef of the cafe. I'm a big fan of Emma, she's the one behind all the menu that I want almost everything on it. I went back to Mammoth three times during their opening weeks to try as much as I can. Hammer & Tong still holds the record of the most visited cafe in my agenda.

When I came in on a weekdays with my husband, the staff said that this dish is recommended by the Chef. Double Smoked Spam Burger - whiskey sour pickles, jack cheese, mustard, pineapple ketchup, salt & pepper waffle chip ($23). Sadly, this dish fall a bit flat. Not that the double smoked spam was attractive but I needed more. I notice the salt & pepper waffle chip has the same flavour as the lobster burger back in Mammoth. But I also think that there's too much carbs in this dish, needed something to break through all the fats and carbs.

Kimchi Rice Bowl, soft egg,  fermented veggies pickles, soy potato crisps, smoked gouchujang dressing ($19,5) extra seared salmon ($7). A unique dish, that's not often appear in a brunch menu and I love it. The cold rice bowl, is refreshing and fresh, perfect with the perfectly cooked salmon. Seriously, that salmon is one of the most perfect cooked fish ever.

Last but not least, Japanese Souffle Pancake - bruleed pineapple, coconut jam, wattleseed caramel, passionfruit gelato ($19). This is to die for, super light souffle pancake that I could eat it all day long. The only disappointment is I saw online that there's two stack but I only got one and I also notice with the spam burger, online there's only two waffle and I got three. So there's inconsistency with the portion. But seriously the whole combination of this waffle dish is superb.

Next time, I want their lychee yoghurt as well as unique egg benedict. Another thing that could be improved is the friendliness of the hospitality. A lil bit more friendly and attentiveness could go for a long way. But besides that, the food is a huge improvement from my first visit to Mr & Mrs Anderson.
