Harvest Blend (Invited)

Harvest Blend is where I go for breakfast on Sunday morning before I go to church. It's a medium size cafe with several table outdoor but most of them inside with an option of sofa or regular cafe chair. It's quite spacey to fit stroller and they do have kids meal, and also high chair. So it's safe to say they are kids friendly, they even have crayons and paper to draw on,

I opted to sit on the sofa, where they prepare for me. Perfect lighting near the window, I love it. Started with coffee as usual, I have to say I like their strong coffee without being sour or bitter with perfect body and creaminess. I also had their fresh orange juice, my bub seems to love it.

Eggs Benedict Supreme - two free range eggs anyway you want, broccolini, asparagus, house made hash browns, creamy hollandaise with a choice of bacon/ham/salmon/mushroom ($18.9). My husband opted for the crunchy bacon, goes really well with perfectly cooked eggs. The yolk just simply run through everything, love, love, love. I would like the hash brown a lil bit crunchier on the outside and more asparagus on the plate.

Crispy Skin Salmon - pan fried crispy skin Tasmania Salmon, broccolini, mashed potato, lemon, pepper coulis, house made aioli ($24.9). It's been a long time since I ordered crispy skin salmon but I love it, super crispy skin and well seasoned salmon. I would like the middle to be a lil bit rare but overall it's well cooked, the fish remain moist and not dry. Their aioli goes really well with the dish and there were super generous amount of broccolini on the plate.

House Made Waffles - mixed seasonal fruits, maple syrup, mascarpone, rhubarb, strawberry compote ($16.9). I rarely see thin waffles and Harvest Blend waffle is thin, chewy in the middle with generous fruits on top. It's so pretty but I kinds miss the fluffiness.
