@ The Catch is around one year a old by now, is a fish and chips as well as burger store at the end of the busy part of Koornang road. A family owned store with a friendly and warm environment. Modest, simple looking interior with a charming petit room at the back, decorated with warm wood and plants.

I went in on a Wednesday night, to find Kosta but apparently he's not there so Nikki take over for him. He's friendly and accomodating as well as give us enough detail of the space. He also organise the menu for tonight. But we start with my special order, just because I'm craving for it. Super crunchy Salt and Pepper Calamari, tender inside, perfectly cooked. So flavourful, it's addictive.

Then move on to what Nikki's have prepared for us. Prawn Saganaki and Clown - beef pattie, chicken breast, bacon, onions, lettuce, coleslaw, cheese and @ The Catch's special sauce. He said that everything, including the aioli served with calamari is made from scratch in the house. That is super amazing. The prawn a lil bit over cooked but still goes well with the red sauce and warm pita bread. But what comes as surprising to me is the massive burger was massively delicious. All that meat perfectly cooked, taste well together and those onions was delicious.

The only let down out of all the experience is their phase in the service. In a store like this, I expected fast service. Since, there's not many seats available and from my observation, people tend to go for take away. At the end, we also has some delicious fish bites. I want to try more of their fish and chips next time.
