Trei Cafe well known as a comfy casual brunch place that located near Syndal Station. The space is not huge yet not small and the ambience is perfect to have a casual meeting. By the observation, there were a lot of people take their coffee and cookies away from Trei Cafe. The decoration is simple with minimalist modern design. They had a very friendly staff who always put a smile on their face.

We ordered matcha latte and it was unexpected. Unlikely the other matcha latte, this one has no sweet taste at all. It was totally a strong matcha and milk flavour that I could taste. Was a good cup to substitute the coffee.

I got a healthy bowl at lunch menu called satay sauce bowl- brown rice, avocado, poached egg, garlic marinated kale. broccoli, chicken breast with satay sauce. The satay sauce is amazing and more into sweet instead of salty. The brown rice is a bit too dry. I enjoy the garlic marinated kale; it is so soft and tasty. This healthy bowl is definitely worth it and make you full enough for lunch.

My partner ordered the eggs benedict that comes with pulled pork, grilled asparagus, caramelized apple, and apple cider hollandaise on sourdough. It is a good looking dish indeed. The taste was not disappointing at all. The pulled pork is awesome, it is tasty with a hint of sour. The apple cider hollandaise make the dish unique with a touch of freshness.

For sharing we had coconut hotcakes with vanilla and nutmeg coyo ice cream, coconut nectar, toasted pistachios and blueberries. It is also a beautiful dish to eat. The hotcakes is tasty because of the coconut flavour and it has blueberries jam inside. Strawberries and blueberries that surround the hotcakes are a good elements as a fresh booster to the dish.
