Salad Sister is conveniently located close to Malvern station with plenty of car park spaces for those who travel with private vehicles. since it's open, it has quickly made it's name to numerous foodies instagram.

The interior design of this cafΓ© was very neat, clean, bright and full of minimalist design. The customer staffs were very friendly to every customers. They treat their customers as if they’re part of family.

To start of our food journey, we ordered mocha and the Green juice (combination of apple, kale, celery, cucumber, lemon, and ginger). The mocha was little bit too sweet but it had a great taste and the Green juice was absolutely fresh and had great flashing color.

We ordered: Acai Bowl. It came with coconut water & topped with granola, torn date, seasonal fresh fruits such as, strawberries and blue berries. The acai bowl had pretty good presentation and texture.
The texture of acai bowl was smooth and also got slushy texture served really well. It’s definitely a perfect one to welcome summer season in Melbourne; The ingredients used were served fresh and it was a perfect option if you’re concerned with healthy food. If you look at the photo, the portion looked pretty small but it was actually served in generous portion and very filling.

Chocolate Babka French Toast. It served with crème fraiche poached berries, halva and pistachio.
The presentation of this dish was very nice and appealing. The usual French toast served in the square shape of bread but this one was different; It served using the cylinder shape not and swirled with chocolate in the center and hairy floss on top. The bread was soft, fluffy and fresh. It was slightly sweet when you eat the bread by itself, but if you use the cream fraiche when you eat the bread; it had a great mixture taste between the sweetness and sourness. Overall, we enjoyed having this dish and surprised by the creative idea by not using the contemporary way in serving French toast.

Shakshuka with added Chorizo (Baked eggs in spicy tomato & capsicum sauce, feta & green harissa with Turkish toast). We added Chorizo when we ordered the Shaksuka. It was served in generous portion with Turkish toast. The texture of the shakshuka was great with the baked eggs on top of this dish. The combination of spicy tomato, capsicum, green harissa and chorizo bring different flavors of sweet, sour and savoury. The taste was balance and everything was just right.
It’s a must to order their Shakshuka, really recommended.
