Momo Sukiyaki and Shabu Shabu is a restaurant specialise in Japanese hot pot cuisine. An art of cooking raw ingredients such as beef, pork, seafood, vegetables on a large pot of broth served on the table. After everything are cooked, dip the ingredients into your own customised dipping sauce. The difference between sukiyaki and shabu shabu is the soup; sukiyaki has thicker based and sweeter, shabu shabu is thinner and tend to be on the savoury side.

Set menu for 2 people ($109.9); starting with entree - edamame, tsukemono moriawase, 4pcs salmon sashimi, scallop skirt salad. The entree it self is a feast; so many things came to our table with good decent portions as well.

They have 10 different soup base to choose for, it's exciting as well as confusing cause I want to try them all. In the end I opted for the deluxe French Black Truffle soup base for additional $20 and my husband wants something spicy so he tried their spicy miso. We both ended loving the clear aromatic black truffle soup so much. If you want more flavour, they also included sesame and soy dipping sauce on the side. You can customised it with eggs, garlic, spring onion or anything you like.

Then we got thinly sliced sukiyaki style wagyu beef and premium wagyu beef scotch, both 120g each. For seafood we got 2pcs of scallop and tiger prawn. As an extra you can choose more beef, chikcen, lamb or pork, we opted for kurobuta pork belly. We also get rice and vegie plate included in the set.

At the end, we are still feeling for some more meat so we ordered their Premium M10 Kobe Wagyu Beef infused in Black Truffle. Next time, I want to try their Kyoto Sukiyaki base cause I'm craving for something sweet with the beef.
