Crux & Co (Revisited-Invited)

I got invited to Crux and Co recently. As one of the most popular brunch joint in Melbourne, as expected the place was crowded. The joint is vibrant and friendly for kids as it has a lot of space.

Matcha pancakes w/ Mont Blanc chesnut cream, caramel pop corn, yuzu culies, ganache, fresh berries ($20).The first dish I tried. The flavour combination works well with one another and it tastes delicious. The only downside is the pancakes itself, its not as fluffy as I hoped for. In saying that, the matcha itself tastes wonderful.

Ahi Poke bowl w/fresh diced tuna, yuzu ponzu, wasabi mayo, pickled cabbage, carrot, avocado, vegetables and truffle parfait egg ($24).I love this dish, hands down. This dish is a perfect poke bowl for me, tuna is fresh and juicy, the combination of flavor is delicious. The best part though is the truffle parfait egg. It works so well with the poke to give an extra punchy flavor. Great dish.

Crux and Co are currently doing Christmas edition cakes, I am going to be honest, their offerings dont just look super cute but also taste delicious!

Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at Crux and co. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for varieties of selection of food with a beautiful vibrant place.
