Barry (Revisited-Invited)

Barry is one of my favourite brunch place, I don't visit them as often because they are actually located pretty far away from my home. This is my second blog post for Barry, obviously the first one is all raving review so does this one.

My husband ordered Scrambled red chilli eggs bacon, spring onion, parsley, parmesan, toast ($17.5) and Salt & pepper calamari rings, shredded green papaya salad, chilli jam, lime, Vietnamese mint, coriander ($19.5). The egg was cooked nicely but I would like it to be a bit runny but I love the parmesan on top, chilli flavour was barely detected but just nice to add a lil bit spice to match the bacon, parsley and spring onion. Contrary, calamari was perfectly cooked with refreshing papaya salad, ready for the summer.

Ricotta hot cake, apple, cinnamon crème, crumble ($20). This is the best hot cake in Melbourne for quite some time. Freshly made to order, that's why it needed 20 minutes waiting time but trust me it's worth every second. Addictive, fluffy, light and warm hot cake with creamy aromatic cinnamon creme, crumble and baked apple. Love it.
