Tinker is located in the heart of Northcote which has many restaurants, cafes and other food & beverages options to go; but Tinker was the winner, always full and packed of customers compared to others. The staffs were very friendly, attentive and so helpful when we asked for the recommendation. They had knowledge of the food they served. The vibe and table settings were great and good to chill with friends and family. The interior design was clean, minimalist and sleek. Designed with the open kitchen where the customers are able to have a glance of how the brilliant chefs working.

We ordered Coffee Mocha - $4.20 and Smoothie (Peanut Butter and Raspberry - $9.50) to start off while we were still choosing for the main dishes. The Smoothie was really rich blended with banana, raspberries, peanut butter, honey and almond milk. It was well presented, colorful and very appealing.

Breakfast Bowl with Salmon - $22.50 served with cashew pesto quinoa, avocado, kale, cherry tomatoes, haloumi, yogurt, a poached eeg and pita chips. The smoked salmon and vegetables were really fresh and the portion was generous. The taste was really rich. Unfortunately, the poached eeg was pretty plain and watery inside.

Braised Pulled Lamb (beetroot humus, spiced chickpeas, pomegranate, yogurt, rocket, a poached eeg and dukkah crusted crostini - $22.00.The meat was really soft and well cooked. It had great color combination and balance between the vegetables and meat. The sauce used in this dish was just right, not too much as we could enjoy the taste of every bit of this dish. Unfortunately, the bread was little bit burn or else everything will be just perfect.

Mango & Saffron Panna Cotta - $17.50 served with vanilla, almond and cranberry granola with strawberries, passionfruit, raspberry and coconut. The panna cotta was a delightfully light and beautiful dish. It wasn’t too sweet at all and it was served with the fresh fruits and rich in color and flavour. It’s one of the recommended dishes and must to try.

No doubt the presentation of all dishes ordered were outstanding and so appealing. The portions were really generous and they had good value of money to spend. This was the many times I went to Tinker, yet again a successful one.
