Lanai comes as a surprise to me. Arriving, I found it hard with strollers since there are stairs in front of the building and the restaurant is on the level two also only accessible with stairs. But, that day the security is kind enough to lend the back lift for us.

Entering the restaurant, I'm so surprise by the spacious elegant settings with several bars, courtyard, balcony and private rooms. I can see so many functions happening there. I was greeted by the super friendly staff, they are doing Halloween theme which I think it's so cool.

Nahm Prik Squid - Chilli, Garlic ($12). We did not expect it would have a strong Asian taste but it did and we love it. Strong chilli and salt flavour, match nicely with tender squid. Perfect as snack or appetisers.

Beef Short Rib - Pandan rice, Green chilli & coconut sambal, Cassava crackers ($17) and Tuesday Special; Chicken Parmigiana. I love their pandan rice so much, so aromatic and tasty, I just wish they put more cause I need more. Their short ribs was tender but could be push even further in texture and taste. Cassava crackers added a nice touch. Beware, their chicken parmigiana is huge. They are perfectly cooked and nicely done.

We had the Choco Lava for dessert but sadly, inside it's set not enough lava. Taste wise, it's still good. Overall, I love the venue so much that I asked for the function package. Since, my son's 1st birthday is coming soon next year.
