Zonzo Estate is casual dining winery at Yarra Glen. Sitting behind the old rail way road specialised in family friendly dining as well as wedding and functions. Zonzo has been open since 2007 and it means to wander about or stroll around.

The venue is divided into two parts; the cellar and the main dining room. I love the cellar, it was bright, spacey, airy. Contrary, the main dining room is dark yet maintaining the spaciness of the space. Making it perfect for family with kids or group functions.

Salsicce arrosto - wood-fire oven baked skinless pork & fennel sausages cooked in red wine ($15) and Polpettine Fritti - Homemade meatballs pan-fried with vincotto ($15). Both of the starters comes in a decent portions and proven to be tasty.

Bianca Con Salmone Affumicata- olive oil base, smoked Tasmanian Salmon, sautรจed leek and berry capers ($24). They specialise in their wood fire pizza and this pizza is olive oil based which I think it's unique. This was the highlight of our meal, the pizza was light and warm.

Ravioli con Granchio - Handmade ravioli with spanner crab, lemon, butter and thyme ($32) and Guanciale di Manzo - Beef cheeks slow cooked for six hours with red wine, capsicums, porcini and button mushrooms served with polenta ($29). I prefer the ravioli rather than the beef cheecks. The ravioli has a subtle flavour, somehow aromatic. The beef check has strong spices, tender and warm, ended up a lil bit sour.

Dolci Misti - Trio of mini desserts - tiramisu, panna cotta and mousse di cioccolato ($15) and Calzone Alla Fragola - Folded Italian pastry filled with strawberry and hazelnut chocolate ($14). The tiramisu was delicious, that's my favourite out of all.
