Turquoise Eatery owned by Dror and Yariv, both comes from Mediterranean country. Dror, the head chef is in charge for the kitchen and Yariv is in charge for the front house. They wanted to bring their favourite flavours and mix it with modern Melbourne flavours serving a war, healthy Mediterranean and Middle Eastern inspired dishes.

They have a small covered outdoor area which is nice for any seasons and a unique quirky ethnic indoor area. It has a Middle Eastern and Greek influence in decoration, mix match furniture with dim lighting. We arrived on a weekdays lunch time and they were busy, people keep coming even after we are done. Clearly, the locals love them.

Mountain of Mess ($19). This dish was calling at me ever since I saw their menu online. It has everything that I like starting from crunchy fried shoestring chips with rich beef ragu without being too watery then harissa aioli and perfect sunny side up fried egg topped with crunchy fried shallots and chilli. It's the perfect comfort food, I could eat this at least once a week as a main meal or snack. This remind me of Mc Donalds chips on steroid and that's a compliment.

Friday Specials; Moroccan Fish ($20). My husband was debating between their benedict and the specials, the staff was kindly enough sway us to the Moroccan fish just because they only have this every Friday. We did not regret it at all, fresh perfectly cooked fish with rich stew but fresh with super warm and fluffy homemade challah. Another perfect winter comfort food.

I was waiting for their Matcha Pannacotta but they don't have it anymore so I ordered their Mahlabi ($6) instead. It's a pannacotta style dessert topped with fresh sweet pomegranate syrup and generous crunchy pistachios and coconut. The pannacotta was so light, fluffy and fresh, I could eat two of them and not feel sick.

We love turquoise eatery so much. Every single dish is packed full of flavour, tasty, delicious but also very well balanced. We went home with a full stomach but not too full or feel sick afterwards which a huge plus point. Their service was fast and friendly. I simply love my experience at Turquoise Eatery.
