Tom Phat is one of the first pioneer for Asian brunch food, back then there's not many of them and Tom Phat shine through. They opened fro breakfast to dinner serving Asian-inspired street food. Located in the busy Sydney Road's with modern wood interior.

Their interior is warm and comfortable. Plenty of seats for two and four, larger groups recommended to call in and make a booking. I have been to Tom Phat many time before and I always like them. They just opened a more refine casual dining restaurant called Bhang that I also like. I started with some mocktails.

Uncle Ho’s Brekky - grilled pork chop, crispy fried free-range egg, tomato, cucumber & rice ($16.9). I would love have breakfast like this everyday. Hearty warm rice with super delicious fried egg. I love it so much with thin grilled pork chop.

Bumbu Duck braised in coconut and lemongrass - tomato and eggplant sambal ($26) with Roti - peanut satay ($5). We also love this dish so much, my husband love this so much. The creaminess of sauce just perfect with fall of the bones duck.

Meen Moilee Grilled Tiger Prawns - red rice & goan chorizo ($28). Succulent large prawn cooked perfectly and certainly seasoned well. The red rice was a lil bit dry bit with the sauce it match nicely. We would like more prawn on the dish.

Coconut Panacotta - berry coulis ($5) and Vegan Black Sticky Rice Pudding - mango & lychee ($5). Both dishes comes in a small glass cup and taste nice but nothing special. The coconut flavour is strong with sour berry and the black sticky rice is thick needed a lil bit more coconut sauce.

My visit was a very pleasant one and it would not be my last visit to Tom Phat. Their hospitality was warm, friendly and professional even to my baby. They also has high chair for kids and plenty of space for prams as well.
