Journeyman is a popular and well known cafe in Windsor. It has a very good reputation and ratings for a very long time. Walking distances from Prahran station with plenty access to other public transport and street parkings in front of the cafe.

I have been to Journeyman many times before and it always been a pleasant experience. This time I went in with my husband and baby, it's the first time for both of them. My husband really excited since he love Light Years so much and they came from the same people. The cafe has a dim lighting with a communal table and plenty of table for two and fours.

Journeyman Eggs Benedict - crispy pork belly, maple hollandaise, apple, spinach, housemade bbq sauce, english muffin ($19). A classic dish that all cafe's have their own version of it and Journeyman twist on it with fluffy English muffin and super creamy maple hollandaise is pretty enjoyable. Even though the pork belly is a bit dry but nothing major.

Charred Greens - poached eggs, chermoula, labneh, capers, almonds ($18) extra smoked salmon ($6). I'm drawn to vegetarian dish these days cause I do think vegetarian dish is getting better and better even for a meat eater like me. The charred kale and broccolini is top notch, the smokey charry flavour is amazing mixed with perfectly poached egg and light salmon. Yum!

Toasted Waffles - blueberry compote, fresh fruits, double cream, pure maple syrup ($15). My husband saw the waffles from the other customers table and he thinks it look delicious so we have to order it. He was right cause we finish every bit of it. The waffle is classic with crispiness on outside and fluffy inside with creamy double cream that I love and sweet maple. I just wish a lil bit more of that maple just because I like it so much.

Another brunch went well, as expected of course. Jaime, the manager take care of us from the beginning to end with a fast and friendly service. The best service formula. Journeyman is a classic and simple cafe serving warm brunch dishes.
