The Piano is a contemporary Thai restaurant. I recently went there with my husband and friend, we all love our visit to the piano that I wanted to come back and try more of their dishes. This time I bring my best friend from Indonesia and my mom with me. They both were pretty excited since I told them my last experience was a great one.

We started with Tom Yom Soup ($12.5). Comes in a small bowl perfect for one or two person with an options of vegetarian or prawn and I choose prawn. It may look small but it has generous serving of big prawns in it and the soup was well balanced of spicy, sour and salty. Accompanied by Squid ($14.5). Lightly coated with flour, salt and pepper then fried with Thai herbs and served with creamy Thai Sriracha sauce ($14.5). Very well fried and seasoned.

The main we chosen ; Stir Fried Tiger Prawn ($24.5) with red curry, green bean, red chilli, thai eggplant, green pepper, thai basil. Crispy Twice Cooked Pork Belly ($25.5) with stir fried Chinese broccoli, Steamed Silken Tofu ($20.5) with soy, ginger broth, spring onion, baby corn, mushroom and Crispy Fried Whole Snapper ($32.5) with chilli jam Thai dressing lime and herbs. Honestly, all of them were well presented and well seasoned, not too spicy but packed full of flavour. The silken tofu was light and fresh, perfect to balance the richness of red curry prawn and pork belly has a nice crackle without being to oily. The last but bot the least, super crispy fried snapper which we devour straight away.

Piano Coconut Pannacotta ($12.5) - caramel, seasonal fruits, roasted coconut, ice cream and Banana Fritters. Both the dessert was very much enjoyable. I have tasted the pannacotta before and it's as light and creamy as it was before and that shows consistency. The batter on the banana was super crunchy and light, we love it so much.

The Piano is perfect for a quick lunch or night out with family or love ones since they have quite a space for high chair, prams but also romantic with dim lighting for a date night. The portions was reasonable as well as the price. We love it.
