Fomo Thai is a casual dining Thai restaurant in the heart of Melbourne CBD. I have been to Fomo Thai many times before and I do have many favourites in the restaurant. So when they contacted me to taste their new menu, I gladly come. They finally added an extension of their menu to suits all customers.

They had something prepared for me straight away so I did not pick the menu, I do take some liberty in ordering their Thai Milk Tea with Grass Jelly and Pandan drink. Both of them are sweet but the pandan drink was refreshing and the milk tea was rich.

Kway Tiaw Moo Thun - pork ribs noodle soup. This soup is sweet, nice to balanced out all the spiciness on the other dishes. Served in generous size with big bowl with abundant noodles, big piece of pork ribs and pork ball. Perfect for quick filling lunch in this winter days.

Khao Kanna Moo Krob - Chinese brocolli, crispy pork. A well known and popular Thai dish that all Thai restaurant have to have in their menu just because it's so iconic and people always looking for them. Perfect spiciness with tender crispy pork. Yum! The addition of fried egg just balanced the oily and spiciness nicely.

Crying Tiger - grilled marinated tenderloin beef. One of my favourite dish at Fomo Thai that we always ordered whenever we go there. Perfectly cooked medium rare meet, nicely marinated and tender with spicy sauce on the side. I could eat it on it's own or with rice.

Som Tum Khoo Pod Khai Khem - sweet corn kernels salad, salted egg. This actually is quite spicy but balanced out the spiciness and the salted egg is a nice addition to the dish also added a smooth texture.

We ended with Warm Sticky Rice Pudding with Durian and Banana Roti with ice cream. Classic Asian dishes, a nice ending for spicy flavourful rich savoury dishes. Their service throughout the lunch was friendly and pretty attentive.
