Roule Gallete (Invited)

Roule Gallete is a traditional French food since 2007 based in Melbourne. They have two stores; Carnegie and Melbourne.  Roule Gallete is certainly famous for sweet and savoury crepes and certainly my go to place for crepes over the years I'm in Melbourne.

La tartiflette. The skin is so much crispier compared to the store in the city that you could hear the crack sound when you cut it. I love how they stuffed the meat in the middle of the crepes and the portion is so generous. You just have to add more salt and pepper to suit your tastebud.

Salmon truffle. This crepes is a bit of a let-down for me. I was expecting a lot since I love salmon and I certainly obsessed with truffle but sadly, It taste bland. It needed more punching flavour in it to make the ingredient shine. Even though the plating are so pretty.

Butter sugar. I would not recommend this if you like your crepes crispy. It is more to being soggy because of the abundant butter they gave. But seriously, for people who loves the combination of butter and sugar, this would be the perfect go to crepes.

Strawberry. If you like to try something wild and interesting, you should definitely go for this crepes. It has a combination of sweet and sour that makes you want to keep digging for more. I would certainly, order this again and again.

Overall, I like the sweet crepes more than the savoury ones even though their savoury menu selections are interesting. Will definitely be back to try their lamb crepes.
