Niche on The Bridge is a bar and restaurant in the busy Bridge Road. The restaurant specialise in modern Australian cuisine with Spain and the Middle East influence. The also have extensive wine list from Australian wine regions, as well as International.

The interior designed by Interlandi Mantesso Architects with a classy yet modern theme. It has a wide space area with lounge and table seatings, perfect for functions, brunch for large group of people or family with prams. They cater for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

We ordered a range of breakfast and lunch menu starting with their breakfast menu; Strawberry and Ginger Pancakes - strawberry cream, pumpkin seeds, berries, maple syrup ($16.5). It looks heavy and comes in a really generous size. Surprisingly, it was really light and fluffy, we love it but we would like a lil bit more of the maple syrup and slightly more fresh and sour strawberry cream.

Then we move on to lunch menu; Spaghetti - chorizo sausage, mushrooms, peas, garlic, chilli oil ($18). I love the al dente pasta with slight spiciness from the pasta. The chorizo and mushrooms were delicious and perfectly seasoned but towards at the end, it get's too oily.

My mom was curious of Indonesian dish at a Western cafe so she ordered this Chicken Nasi Goreng - fried egg, prawn crackers ($19). Turns out it was quite good but compared to the others, the portions was smaller. The chicken was tasty, very well seasoned. Not bad at all.

I was pretty impressed with the hospitality, my mom spilled her hot chocolate in the middle of our lunch and they handle it professionally. They are really friendly and I can see the space for functions such as birthday or cooporate luncheon.
