Miss Frank (Revisited-Invited)

Miss Frank is a place that I have been disappointed before, so when I'm over to taste their new menu I was quiet excited to see their improvement. Arriving at the cafe on a weekdays, amazingly they were really busy. Almost all the table were full and they do have lot's of table and space making it perfect for families with kids and prams.

As usual I started with coffee and it was amazingly good. The texture was smooth, creamy, fluffy with strong coffee flavour ended with a touch sweetness. Then move on to why I went back to Miss Frank, it's their Pitaya Panna Cotta - granola, coconut yoghurt, mango, strawberry, kiwi, banana chips, passion fruit, blueberry sauce ($18). The last time I tasted pitaya panna cotta at Legacy, I was really disappointed because it was way too dense but this time I was pretty happy. It was light with prominent pitaya flavour served with mixed fruit and very minimal granola which I don't mind.

Cauliflower Paprika Fritters - sriracha maple bacon, black beans, feta, rocket ($17) with extra fresh avocado and mushroom. Another first time trying on cauliflower and paprika fritters, quite like it especially with unique sriracha flavour but I wanted less of the black beans on the dish. Perfect with poached egg and avocado. Yum!

Lemongrass & Ginger Congee - jasmine rice, poached egg, soy, fresh chilli, fried shallots coriander, pickled ginger ($17) with pork ($4). This was the highlight of the meal. I like it so much that I ordered two servings without meat to take away. The congee was so smooth, warm and packed full of flavour, making it perfect for winter.

My second visit to Miss Frank was a bliss. I'm so happy with the new menu that I recommend people to try it, especially the congee. Their service was top notch, even though they were really busy, everybody maintain their friendliness and fast phase.
