Medah Kitchen is a modern mediterranean casual dining restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner at the airy, semi outdoor Westfield Knox Ozone. It has been opened for around 3 years, known more for their dinner but now they began to also focus on their breakfast dishes.

I was invited by Quan Lin, Medah Kitchen owner. He has been a Chef for a long time and he personally develop the dishes at Medah Kitchen. The restaurant it self has a spacious semi outdoor space and a vibrant colourful indoor area. It's perfect for families with kids as well as casual date or just simply a meal before the movies. As usual, we ordered some drinks; coffee, smoothies and juice.

We started with the breakfast dishes; Medah French Toast - brioche, berries panna cotta, berries compote, berry coulis, nuts, passionfruit, fresh berries, vanilla waffle ($17.5) and For the Sweet Tooth - vanilla sponge, banana cream, honey panna cotta, grilled banana, berries, waffle, coulis, chocolate soil ($19.5). The french toast was well made, slight crispiness with fluffy inside and the taste not overly sweet. We did not get to try the berries panna cotta because they ran out by the time we order the dish. We did get the picture in the beginning  cause I arrived by the time Quan Lin is taking a picture of the dish. The sweet tooth was also nice, I love the honey panna cotta. The whole dish was quite light with perfect amount of sweetness.

Mixed Gyros - chicken, lamb, greek salad, olives, tzatziki, pita ($27). This dish is not as big as I thought but it's one of the highlight of our meal. The pita comes warm with creamy yet fresh tzatziki and flavoursome tender chicken and lamb.

Seafood Tray - grilled salmon, prawn twister, chilli mussel, prawn saganaki, calamari, greek salad, taramasalata, pita, beer battered chips ($52). This tray also not as big as I thought it would be but overall flavour were pretty good. Everything was well cooked.

Traditional Chicken Parmigiana - crumbed chicken, ham, sugo, grilled cheese, chips, mixed leaf, sherry dressing (Lunch Special - $15). For a chicken parmigiana, it was pretty tasty. My cousins loves it so does my mom and she rarely like chicken parmigiana.

500g Twice Cooked Beef Ribs - 8 hour marinated, slow roasted, homemade BBQ sauce, roasted red onion ($31) and Twice Cooked Pork Hock - pork juz, balsamic glazes onion, pickle onion slaw, lemon chilli dressing ($29). Both of this meat comes tender and full of flavour, the beef ribs practically fall of the bones with generous sauces and the pork hock comes in a very crispy skin which we all love and delicious taste.

We could not end our meal without dessert; Tiramisu and Baklava. The tiramisu was nice, creamy with strong coffee flavour but I would like a lil bit more liquor in it and the baklava was crunchy but really sweet. I would like to try their sticky date pudding next time.
