Prospect Espresso is a petit cafe in Camberwell opened in 2012 but in 2015 purchased by Coffee Culture Communication Group. They managed Addict Food & Coffee, Liar Liar, Sir Charles and many more. Prospect is known for their own espresso blend, AU79.

The cafe sets up in a small space with exposed light bulbs hang from the black ceiling, large front window bathes patrons in light, the overall interior is simple, with exposed brick and wooden walls, polished floors.

Fried Chicken Burger - panko crumbed thigh fillet, chipotle mayonnaise, cos lettuce, tomato, pickled cucumber & fries ($19). Generous mayo, which I love so much. It soaks to the bread and give so much flavour to the crispy chicken. Normally, chicken fillet often fall flat but this one was very well seasoned.

Blueberry Panacotta - house made granola glazed with honey, on a bed of natural yoghurt and fresh berries ($14.5). This dish has been popping up on my Instagram recently. The blue popping colour and beautiful presentation has attracted many foodies to visit prospect espresso. I want more blueberry flavour on the panacotta but all I get is coconut flavour but it still taste good and creamy. I also would like more fresh fruit and less granola.

Strawberry Lamington Hotcakes - white chocolate crumble, vanilla mascarpone, toasted almonds, fresh berries & strawberry coulis ($17.9). The hotcakes was super light, fluffy and warm with strong coconut flavour, less chocolate flavour but the vanilla mascarpone was super creamy and smooth. I generally love it.

Wesley, the social media manager of Prospect Espresso was there to accompany us for most of our time there. He's friendly, warm and accomodating. Overall, my experience at Prospect Espresso was a blast.
