Demazzi is a family run and own business, located on the busy Mount Alexander rd, right under Punthill Apartment. In the early days known for their stone grill which is a technique of cooking raw meat on top of a super hot piece of bluestone. But since last year it's much more well known for their burger and freak shakes.

My mom is back in town and as usual we went to pick her up at the airport. Then we decided to get lunch on the way back home and we are all in the mood for burger. Walking inside, the restaurant was full of people with an industrial lights, wooden furnitures, white tiled counter and semi outdoor tables. Our visit got off to a very rocky start as the service was hectic and messy. We originally ordered Power Gulp - Kale, Cucumber, Apple and Mint ($5.9), Apple Juice and Ferrero Rocher Shakes ($12) but turns out both of our juice were power gulp and they insist one of them is apple juice.

Lucky Mac - double beef, double cheese, jalapenos, lettuce, Mac sauce, mustard, ketchup with fries ($20.9) is one of the most popular burger at Demazzi so obviously we ordered them. It was delicious, the bun was soft, the beef was tender and perfectly cooked with an abundance of sauce.

My brother opted for the Smoked Pulled Pork burger - kale slaw, creamed cheddar, ketchup on brioche bun with fries ($19.9). The pulled pork was extremely tender and melt in your mouth, we all fall in love with it but the sauces was a bit too much and it overwhelm the whole burger. We also love the fries, crunchy and tasty.

We thought since they used to be famous for their stone grill, we should try one dish so we ordered;Surf & Turf - 125g sirloin steak, 2 prawn skewers with salad, fries and tartare ($34.9). The whole dish turns out to be delicious, the meat was super tender even when it's well done and the prawns was succulent and juicy.

They clearly need to improve their service, reorganise the system as well as the friendliness. The staff looked overwhelm so they don't have time to be friendly anymore and we were pretty much rushed from beginning to end.
