Six Slice Pizza Bar is owned and created by the team at ZERO95, Ciccio, Anthony & World Champ Andrea want to take the art of Pizza-making to the next level. Their tag line stated in the website "What do you do after you have been awarded the title of making the World’s Best Pizza?" In April 2017, they finally opened Six Slice Pizza Bar ad a result of their respectful evolution of pizza. Why respectful? Cause traditional is extremely sacred to them. This new concept of pizza preparation, cooking processes leading to maximum flavours, textures and modern innovative presentations but still uses traditional, highest quality ingredient and premium produce.

I was invited by Lusia to visit Six Slice Pizza Bar, knowing the world champ Andrea reputation, I quickly take my husband with me as well as my lil bub. Arriving at the restaurant on a Friday, greeted by Francesco wife and shown to the best table to fit my baby prams. They were very accomodating, friendly and warm. We started with some hot coffee since it was pretty cold that day.

Then all the food started to came in, I begin with Eye Fillet Carpaccio - lemon oil, walnuts, baby spinach & shaved parmesan ($22). I love the combinations of walnuts, tomato, lemon oil and parmesan. It produce such a fresh flavour.

Six Slices Pizzas Prawns - pan fried King Prawns wrapped in pancetta & zucchini cream ($32). This dish was definitely our highlight of the meal. Starting with the amazing presentations, we were really impressed. It definitely have the drama flare and it look so appetizing, we could not wait to eat it. The flavour it self was delicious, the dough was crispy on the outside, chewy but soft inside then the prawn was fresh and well seasoned, complete with salty pancetta and creamy zucchini cream. It was flavourful but simple and not over powering in the same time.

Tagliatelle - slow cooked lamb ragu, fresh Italian herbs & chunky artichoke ($32). The overall flavour of the pasta is a bit too bland, a lil bit more salt and pepper would be nice. Generous tender lamb ragu with a well portion pasta.

We could leave without dessert; Vanilla Bean Pannacotta - strawberry coulis ($16) and Tiramisu - traditional with mascarpone, biscuits, coffee, cocoa ($16). This two are my favourite dessert that I always order whenever I go. The tiramisu was nice, creamy with a strong chocolate and coffee flavour but the star was the pannacotta. Even my husband who rarely obsessed with pannacotta like I do, loves it so much. It has the perfect creamy milky texture and flavour with fresh soury strawberry coulis on top. Love it.

Six Slice Pizza Bar is an evolution of traditional Italian cuisines. I personally would love to come back for the pizza as well as the pannacotta. Looking forward to more innovate "Six Slice" pizza.
