Penta (Revisited-Invited)

Penta is my favourite among the family; Temperance SocietyLegacyTinker and MOB. All my visits to Penta previously has been a bliss and it's rarely happen to me at any other venue in Melbourne. When I was invited to Penta, I jumped with joy and quickly ask my brother to join me since he have never been to Penta before.

We started with some coffee and orange juice and yes both of them were good as usual. Then my brother opted for their Okonomiyaki - cabbage, kale, carrot Japanese fritters with spring onions, pickled ginger, a poached egg, kewpie mayo and hoisin sauce ($19) extra Smoked Salmon ($5) and Avocado ($5). To my surprise, it was so delicious that I could not stop eating from his plate. The okonomiyaki was crunchy and tasty mixed in with super creamy mayo and very well partnered with the extra smoked salmon and avocado.

I have ordered this before at Tinker so I know they are good; Herb and Feta Smashed Avocado - heirloom tomatoes, black sesame, radish, chilli on dark rye ($17.5) extra egg ($2). Perfectly cooked egg with fresh cheesy smash avocado and who does not like that?

This is a classic Penta dish also one of their most popular;Nutella Panna Cotta - nut butter banana sushi, honey joy crumb, strawberries, pomegranate molasses, torched marshmellows ($18.5). If you red my previous penta post you know how much I love them.

The service was much better than my last visit. It was friendly from beginning to end, the food was well paced and this will not be my last visit to Penta for sure. I might visit MOB since it's the only one in the family I have not visit.
