TGI Fridays x Bistro Morgan (Invited)

TGI Friday is on a role from creating new wings flavour than burger, now introducing a collaboration with Bistro Mogran and launch two new spiked flavour milkshakes to welcome Valentine's Day. They are called Nice Spiked Shake and Naughty Spiked Shake.

Nice Spiked Shake, a strawberry cocktail with Chambord, White Crème De Cacao, half cream & half milk, Brandy snap, three scoops of vanilla ice cream, garnished with vanilla wafer tubes, shard brandy snap, a Bistro Morgan White Chocolate and Raspberry doughnut topped with fresh raspberry and mint.

Naughty Spiked Shake, a cocktail swirled with chocolate syrup, Malibu, Frangelico, coconut cream, chopped pecans, cocoa powder, three scoops of vanilla ice cream, finally topped with a chocolate wafer tube, mini bounty bar, and a Bistro Morgan Kit Kat doughnut.

Both have very nice presentation and they look fun and insta-worthy. It's perfect for a couple to share these drinks. They have the doughnut topped on the rich flavored milkshakes. Personally, I like nice spiked shake rather than naughty one, simply because I can taste every single combination ingredients in this milkshake and it's really well combined compared to naughty one. It’s easy to enjoy as well because it’s not too sweet so that you’re not overwhelmed by sweetness from the other toppings (plus you’re getting doughnut as well on top of that). I don’t really enjoyed the raspberry doughnuts with the milkshake, it’s not really go well together with the fresh-light-not-too-sweet taste from the milkshake. The presentation of the milkshake will be much better if they can put a bit more strawberry cocktail or syrup to enhance the colour of the drink - making it even more insta-worthy with bit of color pop.

The basic concept of naughty spiked shake is to have the similar taste as German Chocolate Cake; I think it's very creative idea. For a big Nutella fan, you might enjoy it because you can totally taste the hazelnut in the drink. The taste of coconut, however, was a bit too strong, it overcame other ingredients. The Kit Kat doughnut was good and enjoyable, the filling of the doughnut and the milkshake tasted well together. Both shakes will be available from Valentine's day till 28th of February.
