Mr. Humble is located in Highett's, they pride them self on using the best quality ingredient with intense wood heat, science and professional hand crafting dough. Conveniently reachable train since it's located just across Highett Station and plenty of cark park on the street.

I was invited by Zomato and Ryan from Mr. Humble to dine in and have a taste of their wood fired pizza. The restaurant it self was spacey, bright, decorated with light wood furnitures, open kitchen with the full show of the Chef making your food. They also have a semi private room holds up to 16 peopleavailable for functions.

Wood Fired Arancini - changes daily ($13). Special of the day flavour was Bolognese Arancini and it was golden brown on the outside and rich on the inside. I would prefer a little bit more cheese and bolognese to add extra softness.

Crab, Raw Fennel & Coriander Croquettes - served with aoili ($13). The inside was still a little bit too chunky and there were minimal crab flavour, dominated by the potato flavour. Even though the batter was pretty nice.

Prawn & Zucchini - tomato, mozzarella, chilli, mint, parslet ($23) with Asparagus as a side. Unfortunately the pizza was a bit disappointing, the pizza was a soggy cause of the sauce and oil and there were barely prawn on the pizza. I would want an extra topping, cheese with a little crunchier crust. The best part was the asparagus, it was super tasty and crunchy but a little too burned.

The dessert was the best part of the dinner. I picked Wild Berries Sorbet & Hot Chocolate Ricotta Fritters - espresso chocolate sauce, chocolate soil ($13). The sorbet was fresh, light and yummy, perfect for summer. The fritters was something unique and enjoyable and extra chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream would be perfect.

The service was friendly from the beginning to end and for a weekdays night, the restaurant was quite busy throughout the night. Overall, I love the spaciness of the venue as well as the peacock wall but there are plenty of potential could be explore in the future.
