Hokkaido Baked Cheese Tart

Hokkaido Baked Cheese Tart is brand new petit baked cheese tart from Japan. It lands in Melbourne in style with opening 4 store all at once and also opening in Sydney, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Shanghai in the same time.

I was very keen to try them since a couple months a go I just got back from Hokkaido and I have tried Kinotoya baked cheese tart and they are pretty awesome. Melbourne Central supposedly the first one to open on 10 December but somehow I passed by on the 9th and it's open. There were small lines but went pretty fast so I bought a bunch of them for my family as well.

The cheese cake price is $3.9 per piece and baked fresh everyday and they run out pretty quick as well. The crust was crunchy and tasty, goey soft creamy centre but compared to the one in Japan, I still like them better even though I have to say this version is not bad at all for Melbourne and they are the only shop who's selling this type of cheese cake anyway. I'll take any piece of Japan goodness in Melbourne as much as I can. I'll be back.
