There was a nonna, she began learning from her grandmother since she was a kid. Now, Paesano kitchen prepares all the pasta in house as well as the sauces and desserts. Many of the recipes are handed down through generations, some even goes further than 19th Century. Nonna's son Frank Capuzzi and his partner Angelo LoMonaco runs the business with the home the home style Italian could shine and make other families happy.
I was originally invited to one of their events at the end of the month but I replied them and said I couldn't come because I'm out of the town on the day. So I came in earlier to have a taste of their delicious home made recipes with my mom. The restaurant was spacious, perfect for functions and party with a lil bit of outdoor area. Located right in front of village cinemas, with classic wooden furnitures and warm vibe.

Prosciutto - roma tomato, black olives, mozarella topped with roquette and freshly sliced 24 month aged parma posciutto ($22). The managers was really friendly and gladly explained all the things to us and he recommended to order one of his favourite pizza as a starters, so I did. The dough was fluffy and really soft, it's warm in my stomach and the prosciutto was a nice high quality topping on top.

Gnocchi Chicken Inverno - chicken & avocado in creamy basil pesto sauce ($24). He did say that the gnocchi is one of the most popular pasta at Paesano, I knew straight away I have to order it. It comes in a very generous portion and one bite of the beautiful gnocchi, I just can't stop eating it. It's so fluffy and soft, melt in your mouth straight away. The sauces was creamy and beautifully seasoned with a chunk of avocado in it. Love this dish so much!

Stone Grill Experience; Black Angus - 300 gram porterhouse steak served with home made slaw, chips and red wine jus ($36). When I saw the menu, stone grill experience just stands out for me and I was right to order it because the steak was so tender, juicy and flavourful. I love it but the sauce was a let down for me, I rather it eat by it self with a lil bit of salt and pepper.

Raspberry Pannacotta with Mango Ice Cream. The dessert was another let down, the pannacotta was too dense even though the flavour was nice and not too sweet.

The service was warm and attentive, I would love to come back for more of the gnocchi. That is something that I'm still dreaming of and would like to have it again soon.
