Woodstock Pizzicheria is located in Brunswick and well known for it's wood fired pizza. This restaurant has won several awards and built by the pizza champion, Tony Cannata. Many would argue this is the best place in Melbourne to enjoy traditional Roman style pizzas.

On my home from an event, both me and my partner felt a little bit hungry then I remember one of my good friends did say Woodstock Pizzicheria is good. We stop by and greeted straight away. The service is friendly and warm. The ambience is rustic Sicilian with various modern and fun elements, decorated with traditional furnitures and interiors, open kitchen and plenty open space for big groups even functions.

Calamari Fritti - dusted calamari in semolina with lime and black pepper spices, served with aioli ($19). It was nicely done, calamari perfectly cooked, soft with a lil crunchy on the outside. The spices were subtle but sufficient.

Porcini - San Marzano tomatoes D.O.P, Mozarella, Porcini mushrooms, shaved Parmigiano and drizzled with truffle oil ($25). The pizza crust was crunch but remain moist in the middle with cheesy pizza and delicious mushroom, the only thing I need is a little bit more truffle oil then it would elevate the flavour even more.

Sigaro di Nutella - cigar shaped crepe, filled with Nutella and oven baked with sugar ($9.5). This is definitely my highlight of the night. The crepe was warm, moist, tasty and the nutella just melting out with every bite. I could eat this every day.

The service resembles of Italian hospitality, warm and feels like family. This is one of the thing I like the most about Woodstock, the other thing is their spacey, warm yet fun interior and of course their sigaro di nutella. I'll definitely come back for that.
