Kinfolk has been running since 2010 and has raised more than 150k. They donate 100% of their profit to charity and their staff works as a volunteers. Kinfolk is definitely different than most cafes, they are open not for fame, money or others but to address social inclusion. Located at the end of Bourke St, near Southern Cross Station and almost always busy with people whether for morning coffee or lunch.

I used to work near Kinfolk and almost always get my morning coffee at this cafe. The cafe it self was decorated with beautiful painted tree with various segments scattered across the eating hall. It has a warm, cozy but lively vibe.

I start my lunch with Skinny Cappuccino. Their coffee supplied by Di Bella Coffee and they are one of the most recognizable coffee roaster. My coffee has a good consistency, smooth and strong coffee flavour. Love it.

The menu is fresh, relax focusing on vegetarian, vegan with fantastic local produce. Special Soup of The Day; Parsnip & Potato soup and cacao nibs. The soup was thick, hearty but a little bit too sour for me.

Kinfolk has the large social heart with a generous team behind them giving their time and still being genuinely helpful and approachable. It's unique concept with a strategic locations and a good cup of coffee.
